Deploy Apps

Bit Cloud automatically deploys your applications when components are built through Ripple CI. Each app gets a secure, managed environment with a unique URL.

Supported frameworks

StaticStatic sites and single-page applications.
Next.jsServer-rendered React applications with Next.js.
SSRServer-side rendered applications.
HarmonyBit Harmony platform applications.

The deployment framework is detected automatically based on your component's build artifacts and environment configuration.

How it works

1
BuildWhen you export components, Ripple CI builds your app component and produces deployment artifacts.
2
DeployBit Cloud picks the appropriate runner for your app and deploys it to a managed container.
3
ServeYour app is available at a unique URL on bit-app.dev (staging) or composed.app (production).

Deployment status

Track deployment status in real-time from:

The component page on Bit Cloud
The Ripple CI job page
The lane or change request page

Deployments update automatically when new versions are built.

Disabling a deployment

You can temporarily disable a deployment without removing it. Disabling stops serving the app while preserving the deployment configuration and history. Re-enable it at any time to resume serving traffic.

This is useful for maintenance windows or when you want to temporarily take an app offline.
