Hope AI is an AI assistant designed to help you locate the components you need. It can search for components based on your query and provide concrete usage examples tailored to your specific requirements. Hope AI integrates with your IDE and the Bit Cloud web application, offering multiple ways to interact and provide context for your component searches.
To use Hope AI for finding components:
- Navigate to the Hope AI sessions dashboard.
- Start a new session by asking Hope AI to assist you in finding a component.
Finding the appropriate component can be difficult, as different teams and developers may employ different naming conventions. This is where Bit Cloud's semantic search engine proves valuable. Semantic Search translates component functionality into plain English, enabling searches based on what the component does, regardless of its name.
You can interact with semantic search in two ways:
- Begin typing in the search bar on the web UI.
- Open Quick Search using
