How do credits work?＋
Credits are a single currency that covers Hope AI sessions, Cloud Workspaces, and Ripple CI builds. Each plan includes a monthly bundle (25 on Free, 250 on Pro, 2,500 on Team). Need more? Additional credits are $0.10 each, billed only when used.
How do credits convert to actual usage?＋
Hope AI is 10,000 tokens per credit (1.7× for thinking, 1× for smart, 0.35× for fast models). Cloud Workspaces are 2 credits per hour. Ripple CI is 0.2 credits per component build (not per minute). Packages are 1 credit per component.
How do seats work?＋
Free and Professional are single-seat. Team includes 5 seats. Enterprise is unlimited. Additional seats can be added on Team and Enterprise plans.
What’s the difference between Team and Enterprise?＋
Team gives you a full org with permissions, review/approval flow, and 5 seats — perfect for a single product team on Bit Cloud. Enterprise adds SSO SAML, custom domains, dedicated or self-hosted deployment, a Forward Deployed Engineer, and unlimited orgs/seats.
Can I switch plans anytime?＋
Yes. Upgrades are instant, downgrades take effect at the end of the billing period. Unused credits don’t roll over, but you’re never charged twice.
Do you offer discounts for startups, students, or open source?＋
Yes. Verified students get Pro free, early-stage startups get a discount on the first year, and open-source maintainers get unlimited public components forever on the Free plan.
Where is my data hosted?＋
Bit Cloud runs on AWS by default. Enterprise customers choose their region or run Bit Cloud as a dedicated PaaS, in their own VPC, or fully self-hosted.
